What you reply when guests message you is already covered in step 2. This is only what your business sends on its own initiative (to someone who didn't message you, or after the conversation has closed). If you don't send anything like that, leave 0.

Confirmations, pre-check-in and picking up closed conversations (after 24 h a template is required). Lowest rate.

Promos and news. 1 campaign to 2,000 contacts = 2,000 messages. Highest rate.

How it's calculated

  1. Meta charges for every message that goes out of your WhatsApp. Messages your guests send you are never charged.
  2. The price depends on the country of the guest's phone number, not your hotel's country. That's why an average rate is calculated from your country mix.
  3. Conversations that start from a Meta ad (Click-to-WhatsApp) are free for 72 hours: during that window you don't pay for any of the messages you send.
  4. For the rest: billable conversations × messages sent per conversation × average service rate.
  5. On top of that, broadcast campaigns (marketing rate) and reminders or notifications (service rate) are added.
