Welcome to WeSpeak

WeSpeak is the WhatsApp platform for hospitality: your AI assistant serves guests 24/7, your team steps into conversations when needed, and you keep track of everything from a single place.

This guide takes you from sign-up to your first automated conversation.

1. Activate your account

You'll receive an invitation email. Click the link, set your password, and fill in your business details (name, time zone, and primary language).

2. Connect your WhatsApp channel

  1. Go to Channels in the side menu. You'll see a card for each available channel (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Email…) with its status: Connected or Ready to connect.
  2. On the WhatsApp card, click Connect and follow the connection wizard. You can use your current number or register a new one. Verification usually takes a few minutes.
  3. Once the channel shows a Connected status, it's already receiving messages on the platform.

ℹ️ You can connect more than one channel of the same type (several WhatsApp numbers, several Facebook pages, several Instagram accounts). Use the pencil icon to give each one a name (e.g. "Front desk", "Reservations") so you can tell them apart in chats and filters.

Note: if you were already using WhatsApp in another tool, you can migrate your number without losing your history. Keep in mind that connecting WhatsApp via QR and via the official API cannot coexist in the same account: it's one or the other.

3. Load your information

Go to Knowledge in the side menu. That's where you configure everything the assistant knows, across four tabs:

  1. Assistant Setup — its name, personality, and tone.
  2. Price and Availability — how it quotes and how bookings work.
  3. Property Information — services, hours, and policies for your property.
  4. Extra Information — loose details that don't fit in the other sections.

Each tab has its own progress bar and Reviewed checkboxes to mark what you've already validated. If you're not sure where a piece of data goes, use the "Search with AI…" finder (shortcut Ctrl+K / ⌘K): it takes you to the exact field. The more complete the information, the better the answers.

4. Test your assistant

On the same Knowledge screen you'll find the test chat on the right: chat with the assistant as if you were a guest, live and without leaving the configuration. If a response isn't quite right, fix the data in Knowledge and ask again.

ℹ️ Test chat conversations don't count as real conversations and don't show up in your Chats inbox.

5. Go live and follow conversations

When you're ready, turn the assistant on. From Chats you'll see live conversations and can step in at any time: when someone on your team replies, the assistant pauses in that conversation so it doesn't override the human touch.

✅ Tip: check the What's New section every now and then to discover new features.
